Your learning journey

Four phases. One continuous arc.

From PMHNP Foundations through Mastery & Mentorship — TheraPsych's curriculum is sequential but modular. You can enter at any phase if a skills check shows you're ready. Take the ten-question self-assessment below and we'll recommend the right starting rung.

The four-phase ladder

Every phase answers a clinical question.

Each phase sits on a trauma-informed anchor and points to a paid service where the skill becomes embodied practice. Precepting and consulting run alongside every phase as 1:1 layers.

Skills self-assessment

Ten questions. One recommendation.

Answer honestly. The questions check confidence in four domains — clinical workflow, billing & credentialing, integrated psychotherapy, and leadership. We'll recommend your entry phase and the next concrete step.

How the phases stitch together

Sequential, but modular.

You don't have to start at the bottom. The decision rule is simple — find the skill gap below that sounds most like your current practice, and that's your phase.

i

Foundations I — clinical workflow

For senior PMHNP students and clinicians in their first 12 months who need eval → MSE → risk → formulation → prescribing → documentation as one connected workflow.

↓ Skill gap: how does this work get paid?
ii

Foundations II — credentialing to collections

For clinicians billing but losing revenue to denials, audits, or panel-by-panel chaos. Pairs with Credentialing to Collections consulting for hands-on implementation.

↓ Skill gap: where's the psychotherapy half?
iii

Phase III — advanced clinical integration

For prescribers ready to operationalize CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, and MI inside the med-management visit — across pediatric, perinatal, geriatric, and addictions populations.

↓ Skill gap: how do I do this at scale, for a team, for a career?
iv

Phase IV — mastery & mentorship

For clinician-owners 2–5 years post-graduation who are building or running an independent practice and want to become the supervisor / preceptor / mentor for the next cohort.
